Stromanthe Triostar

Stromanthe Triostar, aka Magenta Triostar, is a strikingly beautiful houseplant that never fails to catch the eye. It has an exotic look with its dark green leaves that are delightfully variegated with streaks of pink and cream. The backsides of the leaves are a lovely shade of pinkish-purple. 

Triostars grow best in warm, humid conditions, and this is why they tend to be an ideal houseplant, sitting in a window with sufficient indirect light. Misting can also help give the plant the humidity they prefer.  Your Triostar needs a soil that is well-draining, breathable, and light. Although it needs to retain moisture, it shouldn't be too heavy or claggy.  

Prefers distilled water.
