White Jewel Dracaena

White Jewel Dracaena (Dracaena warneckii, also known as the Dragon Tree) is an easy-to-care-for tropical with deep-green, strappy leaves edged in brilliant white.  

White Jewel is a compact variety of Dracaena that can be tucked into the corner of the living room or a bright four-season porch. Planted as a specimen plant, White Jewel can be pruned into a treelike form. Dracaena is on the NASA list of air-cleaning plants and can help to take toxic fumes out of the air from carpets and furniture. Keep children and pets away from white Jewel Dracaena, as all parts are poisonous.

Bright indirect light from a south-facing window will encourage fast growth and strong vibrant color on the foliage. Dracaenas can tolerate medium and low light levels. The leaves may grow thinner, but the plant will grow very well. Artificial grow lights are a great option during the winter or for apartments or office space with no windows. 

Allow the potting soil to dry between waterings.
