Ficus Umbellata

Ficus Umbellata shares similarities with its relative, the fiddle leaf fig, in its large, waxy leaves and thin trunk. However, its heart-shaped leaves have a slighter thinner texture, and its petioles are delicate and elongated.

When caring for Ficus umbellata, it is crucial to provide sufficient light. As with most ficus plants, the umbellata thrives in bright, indirect light, ideally positioned near a sunny window. However, it should be kept out of direct sunlight to avoid leaf burn.

This ficus appreciates consistent moisture but is sensitive to overwatering. Allow the soil to dry out about 25% between waterings and then water thoroughly. 

This plant is in a 6" clear nursery pot, some of the new leaves have some imperfections and wrinkles (see photos for reference) from being poorly packaged when shipped to us.  They should smooth out over time when they harden up.
